• Memberships are not transferable.
• Members under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while in the 412 Squash facility.
• Memberships are non-refundable and take effect from the date of purchase.
• Memberships automatically renew. If you choose to cancel your membership, you need to notify the 412 Squash Association by emailing us and requesting cancellation/termination in writing.
• Once purchased, members may not put a temporary freeze on their membership.
• A member may upgrade their membership to a more expensive category of membership and pay the difference in price.
• No partial refunds or prorated memberships are possible for canceled memberships.
• The 412 Squash Association has the right to revoke membership if a member is not adhering to our facility policies and code of conduct.
Dress/Equipment Code
• Non-marking sneakers (no running shoes) must be worn at all times while on court.
• Protective eyewear is required while on court.
• Players should wear athletic attire.
• Players should bring their own water bottle and towel if needed.
Guidelines for Players and Parents:
• All players must have a reservation to enter our facilities and have filled out all required registration and waiver forms.
• Please be mindful of our facility and parent and student code of conduct policies.
• The 412 Squash Association has the right to revoke attendance at any clinic if a student is not in adherence with our policies and code of conduct.
• The 412 Squash Association has the sole discretion to assign students to groups based on their age, skill level, and social/emotional needs.
• The 412 Squash Association reserves the right to invoke closed practices with no spectators if deemed necessary for specific programs, dates, and times.
• If a student is feeling under the weather and specifically experiencing a fever or contagious disease, please be considerate of others by keeping your child home from lessons for a minimum of 48 hours.
• Parents are not permitted to interrupt their child or other children’s lessons with questions for the instructors.
• Spectators are not permitted to use any other areas at 412 East 90th Street other than the 412 Squash Center. They are also required to enter and exit the building as directed by the Campus Safety team on premises.
• Food or beverage may not be brought into the 412 Squash Center.
All services must be paid for in advance.
• To respect 412 instructors’ time, a 48 hour written notice is required to cancel a lesson, court rental, or drop-in group session to receive a credit. Rescheduling is dependent on 412 Squash instructor and clinic availability. If no notice is received, the 412 Squash Association will charge the full price.
• Seasonal Group Sessions are paid for on a use it or lose it basis. Credits are not offered for missed sessions and there are no make up sessions.
• Lesson and court rental appointments can be rescheduled by canceling the original appointment before the cancellation deadline, and requesting a new appointment time using the returned credit. Rescheduled appointments are subject to instructor and court availability.
• In the case of an injury, long-term illness, or medical procedure, the 412 Squash Association will issue credits for remaining sessions. A medical form signed by a physician must be emailed to the 412 Squash Association before credits can be granted.
• In the event that the 412 Squash Association has to cancel an appointment, the 412 Squash Association will issue a credit for a makeup session.
• Membership is required to book lessons.
• Non-members can book a single trial lesson. Trial lessons must be booked at least one week in advance and can be done by emailing info@412squash.org.
• Priority time slots for lessons are given to players who are enrolled in clinics.
• While the 412 Squash Association does its best to accommodate requests for specific instructors, we cannot guarantee specific requests and/or ensure that the instructor will be the same for every single session. Instructors for a given session are subject to change at any time and we do not credit for substitute instructors.
• Lessons can be purchased individually, or in packages. Lesson packages are sold seasonally following the academic year.
• Drop in lesson requests can be made by emailing info@412squash.org.
• Court rentals are restricted to members of the 412 Squash Association only.
• Court rental availability will be limited to Open Play hours when a court monitor is on site.
• Court rentals reservations can be requested through the 412 Squash Association App. Players cannot arrive at the 412 Squash Center without a reservation, nor can they book a court at the 412 Squash Center.
• There is a maximum of three players per reservation.
• No balls or loaner equipment are provided for court rentals.
• Players must vacate the court at the end of their reservation time.
• Students under the age of 16 are not permitted to rent courts without the supervision of an adult.
• Members get 3 free guest passes per month. After the 3 guest passes are used in a month, a $ 25 guest fee will be charged to the member for each additional guest.
• If entering the 412 Squash Center for a court rental, guests must be accompanied by the hosting member at all times while in the 412 Squash Center.
• Guests must download the 412 Squash app, create a profile, and sign the liability waiver.
• Guests must check in with our concierge team and use the premises at the 412 Squash Center when a concierge staff member is present.
• Guests are permitted to enroll in clinics and take trial lessons.
• The 412 Squash Association does not accommodate walk-ins.
